thru: The Community Place of Greater Rochester, Inc.

• Offers a senior companion program, which includes paid opportunities for low-income older adults to volunteer with frail older adults. Services include:
  • Companionship
  • Transportation to medical appointments
  • Grocery shopping
  • Daily errands
  • Light meal preparation
  • Respite
  • Socialization
• Offers a foster grandparents program, which includes paid opportunities for low-income older adults to volunteer with children in area schools, child care centers, and Head Start Programs.
