The Oneida County Department of Mental Health provides administrative leadership to the planning, monitoring, and reviewing services for individuals with mental illness, substance use disorder, and intellectual and developmental disabilities.

• Does not provide any direct treatment or clinical services. 

The Department of Mental Health promotes education and encourages compliance with New York State Mental Hygiene Law.
