• Preserves and protects the public from diseases, environmental hazards, and health risks through direct services, enforcement of health codes and medical policies.
• Monitoring, processing, and investigation of complaints regarding;
- Air pollution.
- Chemical spills.
- Food protection.
- Lead poisoning screening.
- Public water systems.
• Provides information on the handling, abatement, and management of asbestos.
