Long Term Care Ombudsman Program
thru: Lifespan of Greater Rochester
• Mediates patient care issues in long-term care facilities trained, independent volunteers who are assigned to long-term care facilities.
- Ombudsmen listen, mediate, negotiate, propose and facilitate solutions to residents concerns and problems.

Eligibility: Ombudsman volunteers: age 21 or over. Resident of any age at a skilled nursing or adult home.

Fees: No fee for services.
Coverage Note: Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Wayne, Wyoming, and Yates counties.
