Finger Lakes Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program

Provides a 5 component comprehensive psychiatric emergency program serving the residents of a 4 county area. 
  • Services to adults and youth. 
  • Psychiatric screening and assessment that takes place at Clifton Springs Hospital Emergency Room and/or the Community Comprehensive. 
  • Comprehensive and brief assessments offered. 
  • Mobile crisis outreach/interim service. Mobile crisis outreach is available 7 days a week during the day and evening hours. 
  • Follow up clinical and evaluation services to those seen in the above situations. 
  • Extended observation beds located in Clifton Springs Hospital for extended observation and stabilization without admission to the inpatient programs. Patient can stay up to 72 hours while being assessed. 
  • Crisis residential beds. Arrangements via Elmira Psychiatric Center or Rochester Psychiatric Center for those experiencing mental health and housing crisis, need a controlled living arrangement and are not a danger to themselves or others.

Eligibility: Resident of area served. Be in need of psychiatric crisis services.

Application Process: Call 2-1-1/LIFE LINE for information.

Required Documentation: Call for information.

Fees: Third party insurance. Client may be billed co-pay. Private pay.

Coverage Note: Ontario, Wayne, Seneca, and Yates Counties.
