Compeer Program

thru: Allegany County Mental Health Association**

• Provides a volunteer program designed to give adult role modeling to needy children as well as for adults who are isolated as a result of mental illness and in need of friendship. All volunteers undergo extensive background check and training.

Eligibility: Call for information.

Application Process: Referrals are made through many service providers such as IPRT program, Continuing Day Treatment Program, The Counseling Center or can be self-referred.
