thru: Monroe County Veterans Service Agency
• Assists veterans file claims for compensation and pension benefits.
• Coordinates with local nursing homes to ensure veteran residents are in receipt of applicable benefits and Assisted Living facilities.
• Submit claims for memorial benefits and procurement of discharge papers.
• Provides advocacy and counseling services to veterans, their dependents or survivors.
• Offers presentations for veteran organization, local businesses, public events, area colleges.
Eligibility: Veterans, service members, their family members or survivors, call for more information.
Application Process: Call, write or visit office.

Fees: No fees for service.
