Community and Home Intervention Response Program (CHIRP)
thru: University of Rochester Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics
• Provides crisis support services to children, youth, and adults with developmental disabilities and their families throughout Monroe County. Services include:
- Behavioral assessment
- Behavior plan development
- Short-term case management
- Parent, school team, and staff training
- Links to needed services
• Offers services in the home, residence, school, or day program.
Language Access
Eligibility: Must receive or be eligible for OPWDD services.
Application Process: Referrals can be made by families, medical or mental health providers, or developmental disability service providers. Call for more information.

Fees: Services are covered by OPWDD.
