thru: Bishop Sheen Ecumenical Housing Foundation, Inc.

 Provides grant assistance to low-income homeowners who are experiencing critical and safety home repairs. Assists with a wide range of repairs, including:
  • Rehabilitation, accessibility and modification services.
  • Hot water heaters.
  • Furnaces.
  • Roofs.
  • Electrical work.
  • Bathroom and kitchen repairs.
  • Services for seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities.
All services and programs subject to availability of funding.

Eligibility: Very low to moderate income families, seniors, veterans and persons with disabilities - home owners. Income guidelines apply.

Application Process: Call office. Complete and return application. After review, applicant will receive answer.

Required Documentation: Proof of income, assets, ownership, paid mortgage, paid taxes.

Fees: No fee for services. State and Federal grants covers costs.

Coverage Note: Allegany, Cayuga, Chemung, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Tioga, Tompkins, Wayne and Yates counties.
