Summer Youth Employment Program

Provides youth with 6-8 weeks of paid work experience through work sites and programs. Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) is a government-funded program operated by RochesterWorks in collaboration with the City of Rochester's Summer of Opportunity Program(SOOP).

Eligibility: Ages 14-20 years, enrolled in middle or high school/TASC(GED) Program and meets income eligibility.

Required Documentation: Work Permit, Social Security Card, Report Card, Signature Report, and Picture ID.

Fees: No fee for services.

Coverage Note: Monroe County.

Languages: Spanish- Staff provides service in language offered, Language line, Materials/literature in language indicated, Website can be translated
