Provide free legal services to people who live with or are affected by HIV/AIDS.  Advise or represent clients in:
  • Assistance in gaining access to health care services.
  • HIV/AIDS-based discrimination.
  • Housing matters.
  • Assistance with denials or termination of benefits.
  • Health care proxies, powers of attorney, simple wills.
  • Family court matters.
  • Custody.
  • Visitation.
  • Child support.
  • Paternity.
  • Neglect.
  • Adoption.
  • Divorce.
  • Referrals to other needed services.

Eligibility: Call for information.

Application Process: Call for appointment.

Required Documentation: Varies based on service.

Fees: No fee for service.

Coverage Note: Broome, Cayuga, Chenango, Cortland, Delaware, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego and Otsego counties.
