Social Engagement Activities
thru: Alzheimer's Association, Central New York Chapter
• Provides social engagement services for people living with Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia, and their care partners, including social events and community-based activities. Events are guided, supervised by trained staff, and free of charge.
Language Access
Eligibility: The person living with dementia must be accompanied by a caregiver, friend or family member.
Application Process: Call the main line or the National Helpline to register for social engagement events.
Required Documentation: None.
Fees: No fee for service.
Coverage Note: Broome, Cayuga, Chenango, Cortland, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego, Otsego, St. Lawrence, Tioga, and Tompkins Counties.
