Temporary Assistance
thru: Ontario County Department of Social Services
• Provides temporary cash support to those who are living below the poverty level through two programs: Family Assistance (FA). Assistance to families with children, Emergency housing for residents experiencing homelessness, and Safety Net. Assistance to childless individuals.
Language Access
Eligibility: Variations depending on programs. Call for information.
Application Process: Complete application for services. Attend applicant orientation. In-person interview with social worker. Family Assistance: 30 hours per week of work or training.

Fees: No fee for services.

Languages: American Sign Language, Spanish- Staff provides service in language offered
