Environmental Health Services

• Monitors community water systems, non-community water supplies, distribution. Also oversees water emergencies, conducts inspections, evaluations, and monitors operator qualifications.

• Permits facilities, conducts food operator training, inspects food establishments including temporary facilities and vending machines.

• Regulates residential and recreational sanitation as well as regulating sewage disposal, new and existing.

• Operates programs for rabies control through investigating all animal bites as well as arranging treatment for people bitten by animals

• Enforces the Clean Indoor Air Act.
