Shelter Program

thru: Family Promise of Greater Rochester

Provides short term emergency housing/shelter and case management for homeless families with children (up to 18 years old) accommodating up to six families at scattered site apartments. Participating adults must engage in housing search or employment search and follow guidelines of the program.

Eligibility: Call for information.

Application Process: Pre-screening is done over the phone. Intake arranged with family if qualified.

Required Documentation: Paystubs or income verification, if working.

Fees: No fee for services.

Coverage Note: Monroe County.

Languages: Spanish.- Staff provides service in language offered, Staff provides in-person interpreter, Materials/literature in language indicated, Website can be translated
