Family Peer Support Services

thru: Compeer Rochester

Provides support, advocacy, linkage, and referral services. Services are provided by a certified Family Peer Advocate, a provider with lived experience raising and caring for children with mental health conditions. Examples of services include:
  • school advocacy. 
  • basic needs referrals. 
  • emotional support. 
  • health and benefits systems navigation.

Eligibility: Parent or caretaker of a child age 5-21 with a mental health condition.

Application Process: Most individuals receive service as an add-on to Youth Mentoring Program. Stand-alone referrals are accepted with written recommendation from licensed providers. Drop in, call, or email for application.

Fees: No fee for information.

Coverage Note: Monroe County.
