Finger Lakes Children's Environmental Health Center

Provides preventive, diagnostic, and treatment services for environmentally related conditions in families.

Raises awareness on various environmental health hazards, such as physical risks and toxic substances entering the body through air, food, or water, causing adverse effects on physical, mental, and emotional health, including illnesses, injuries, mental health issues, fertility problems, congenital disabilities, and cancer.

Aims to address the impact of environmental exposure on pregnant or breastfeeding mothers, affecting maternal and child health, by providing education and support to reduce exposure to contaminants for long-term well-being.

Offers services focusing on children due to their higher susceptibility to environmental hazards, considering their developmental stage, hand-to-mouth behavior, and more time spent close to potential dangers in various settings like homes, outdoors, daycares, or schools.
