First Time Homebuyer Program

thru: The Housing Council at PathStone, Inc.

• Helps first-time homebuyers learn the basics of the purchase and coordinate resources, such as down payment grants and affordable mortgage options. Regardless of what lender is being worked with.

• Offers education, one-on-one counseling, and possible financial assistance towards purchasing a new home.

Eligibility: Income guidelines, most grants have income cap of 80% AMI including the Monroe County downpayment assistance program. Counseling, education, and referral support provided regardless of income.

Application Process: By appointment only call or email, to schedule a counseling session.

Required Documentation: Homebuyer Education Intake packet, Housing intake Packet, Photo ID, proof of income, bank statements, and 2 years of tax returns.

Fees: No cost to get started. Homebuyer education fees of website.
