Programs that provide gainful employment opportunities for people who are homebound, unskilled, or unavailable for full-time, permanent work; who have disabilities; or who otherwise require special employment conditions. Included are programs that assist people to obtain employment that meets their special needs as well as those that provide the employment opportunities directly.
Students in grades 7 through 12.
Must have at least two of the following risk factors:
Low socioeconomic status (SES).
Low school attendance.
Overage for grade.
Failing 2 or 3 core subjects.
ELA/Math level below 3.
Suspensions.
Must attend one of the designated Hillside Work Scholarship Schools, including:

Franklin High School.
Gates-Chili High School.
Gates-Chili Middle School.
Greece Athena High School.
