Provides assistance to individuals and families to work towards self-sufficiency.  Crisis intervention to assist with food, shelter, children's clothing and related needs
  • Food pantry
  • Children's clothing closet - newborns to size 12.
  • Assistance applying for DHS assistance
  • Assistance applying for Social Security assistance
  • Personal Care Items as well as Diapers and Baby Products
  • Financial assistance for emergencies of any kind

Eligibility: Must reside within area served for all programs.

Application Process: Call or walk in for an appointment. Appointment needed for financial assistance.

Required Documentation: Verification of need. Proof of residence. Identification for all household members. Proof of income. Proof of expenses.

Fees: No fee for service.

Coverage Note: Serves partial zip codes 14606, 14608, 14611 and 14613 (the area bordered by Main Street/West Avenue to the south, Lake Ontario to the north, the Genesee River to the east, and the Rochester City Line to the west). Have caller check with agency if they are unsure if they reside within those borders.
