thru: Literacy Volunteers of Ontario-Yates Inc.
• Provides no cost literacy tutoring to adults by trained volunteers.
• Assists English speakers looking to improve reading, writing, math or science literacy or pursue their GED.
• Assists foreign-language speakers seeking to learn English: comprehension, speaking, reading and writing. Helps those interested prepare for US Citizenship exam.
• Structures tutoring primarily in a one-to-one setting at a time and place convenient for both learner and tutor.

- Group sessions offered as needed for math, science, conversation/pronunciation and a book group.
- Tutors work with individuals until they have met their goals.
Eligibility: Ages 16 or older. Not required to be enrolled in secondary school.

Fees: No fee for services.
