Property Complaints Program

thru: Rochester City Hall

Accepts property complaints against landlords.

 Assists with landlord/tenant problems.

Informs landlord of violations.

Informs Housing Unit at DSS.  Housing Unit has the ability to withhold rent for tenants who are on public assistance whose landlords refuse to fix property after a reasonable amount of time.
  • Clients referred to their Neighborhood Service Center for specific assistance
