Adult Education Services
thru: Action for A Better Community
• Provides education classes to prepare students to obtain a High Equivalency Diploma through different educational paths:
- General Education Diploma (GED), National External Diploma Program (NEDP), Regents Credits, and the 24 Community College credits
- ESOL classes to new language learners
- Case management services to participants to address barriers to their educational goal
- Tutoring Services
- Monthly Job Fair
Eligibility: Resident of area served, at or below 200% of Federal poverty guidelines. Age 18 or older.
Application Process: Call or by appointment, walk in or visit website and register.
Required Documentation: Photo ID and proof of income verification.
Fees: No fee for services.
