• Provides home owner services to first time homebuyers as well as current homeowners.
- Tenant Education, including information on tenant rights and resources.
- Guidance for senior homeowners, including counseling on Home Equity Conversion Mortgages.
- Foreclosure prevention.
- Homeowner repair grants information (Housing council doesn't provide grants but can help in finding information).
• Offers landlord services such as courses to help better manage their properties and Paint lead safety, provides free and low cost publications and forms to help them manage relationships with tenants.
• Schedules inspections for Landlords accepting LTSA's (Landlord Tenant Security Agreement).
• Offers information and referral hotline for homeownership and rental related questions.
• Provides a rental registry with available housing units for rent. The list is updated every Tuesday and Thursday and is available on the website. The registry cannot be mailed.
• Member of the Healthy Homes Partnership.
• Additional information on current programs available on agency website.
- Does not provide financial assistance for rent or security deposit.
