Emergency and Family Services
thru: Salvation Army Rochester Area Services
• Provides immediate emergency assistance to households in crisis including:
- Food bags.
- Personal Hygiene Bag.
- Prescription Assistance.
- Bus Passes (when available).
- Stranded Traveler Assistance.
- Clothing Assistance.
- Diaper Assistance.
- Vouchers to area supermarkets for food and personal items.
- Advocacy and referrals to outside agencies.
- Crisis assessment and management.
- Bilingual Services.
- Registration for Salvation Army Programs (Project Bundle Up, Long Point Camp, Christmas Assistance, etc.)

Eligibility: Programs: ages 18 years and over. Food vouchers: must have no income, including public assistance.
Application Process: Call or visit office. Interviews done on a first come, first served basis for most services.
Required Documentation: Picture ID or 3 official documents with name on them.
Fees: Call for information.
Coverage Note: Monroe County.
Cultural Competency: Staff reflects population served
Languages: American Sign Language, Spanish- Staff provides service in language offered
