Emergency and Family Services

thru: Salvation Army Rochester Area Services

Provides immediate emergency assistance to households in crisis including:

  • Food bags
  • Personal Hygiene Bag
  • Bus Passes (when available)
  • Advocacy and referrals to outside agencies
  • Bilingual Services limited. 
  • Registration for Salvation Army Programs (Coats for Kids, Long Point Camp, Christmas Assistance, etc.)

Eligibility: Resident of area served. 18 years of age and older.

Application Process: Call or visit office. Interviews done on a first come, first served basis for most services.

Required Documentation: Picture ID or 3 official documents with name on them.

Fees: Call for information.

Coverage Note: Monroe County.

Languages: American Sign Language, Spanish- Staff provides service in language offered
